It's time for everyone to grab two (OR MORE, YOU CAN STORE THEM IN YOUR SADDLEBAGS AND RETAINERS) Gazelleskin maps and lets get some portals open!! Let's go Roulette Hunting!!

RSVP - Only the first 8 who do RSVP are guaranteed a spot in the first party.

((Blatantly ripped from Ozak's events lol))
      Hidden Canals of Uznair
Entering the Hidden Canals and Shifting Altars of Uznair
Treasure coffers in the Lost Canals of Uznair will, on occasion, yield a timeworn thief's map which will reveal a new location on your map. Players can then use the general action "Dig" at the location shown to find a teleportation ward that leads to the Hidden Canals of Uznair or the Shifting Altars of Uznair.
      Hidden Canals Progression
Treasure chests located within are armed with traps, which, when triggered, will release enemies from their cages. Upon defeating them, the player who caused the teleportation ward to appear will be able to open the treasure chest and retrieve the reward and a Vault Key within.

The Vault Key can be used to open one of the three available doors. Should your party be lucky enough to choose the correct one, you will be allowed to progress through six subsequent chambers, and eventually fight your way to the final chamber.
      * If an incorrect door is chosen, players will be removed from the Hidden Canals of Uznair.
      * In the event the party is defeated, all players will be removed from the Hidden Canals of Uznair and cannot re-enter the instance.
      Shifting Altars Progression
An orb located in the middle of the arena will appear. Once interacted with by the owner of the current map, a roulette will spin, which will land on one of the 12 options on the board.
      Blue/Single small Diamond - Invoke's a Lesser Summon boss
      Green/Triple small Diamond - Invoke's a Greater Summon boss
Red/Single giant Diamond - Invoke's an Elder Summon boss
Golden "!" - Begins a 'Double or Nothing' style roulette phase where we either fight nothing but Elder Summons with increasingly huge rewards or get kicked out
      Silver Elephant's Head - (It's a surprise!)
Purple Gaping mouth - Atomos is invoked and pulls you out of the Altars, ending your progress.
      * In the event the party is defeated, all players will be removed from the Hidden Canals of Uznair and cannot re-enter the instance.

It's All Saint's Wake and a sexy werewolf has infiltrated Wanderer's Hope! BETTER FIND THEM QUICK, BEFORE WE ARE ALL SEDUCED TO DEATH*!
Come in costume for TALE's All Saints' Wake party, where we will eat, drink, and find out which among us is the deadly werewolf. Prizes for either the werewolf who devours everyone or the person(s) who figure out who it is first and saves us all. This is a private League party, but you are more than welcome to invite friends from other Companies if you like.
Refreshments and socializing for the first hour. Then the hunt begins!

*The werewolf is just a normal werewolf & it will eat you to death, no seducing. Unless you're into that vore stuff, I guess.

OOC: We will be playing this game!

This is one of my absolute favorite party games and it should be even more fun in character!

This is finally it... a TALE adventure into the cyberpunk landscape of Seattle 2072: Shadowrun. See the Shadowrun channel in our Discord for more details on how to create a character. More details to follow, this text is more of a placeholder and to get a head count.

Those of you who are not developers or at least technically inclined may want to stop reading. HERE BE DRAGONS! ... kind of.

As a developer, I'm always looking for ways to be lazy / efficient. Especially when hard drive space fills up fast and you want to reuse something in multiple projects, but then you have to manage multiple copies or versions in multiple places. This gets even more difficult if your thing doesn't have a package manager, repository, or build system of some kind to help save time and sanity. Recently, I've stumbled across Symbolic links, and they are working out pretty well. There is an article on TESTED that can explain it better than I could if you are curious:

Timezone differences. A number of us have gotten used to working with them since our group spans the United States and beyond!
But still, some times we don't get it right. And when that happens, it can really ruin someones day if they are too early, or worse, too late!
It isn't fancy, but I put together a little page that should make it easy to check where the time zones are at any given point in the year. It even accounts for those pesky cases where Daylight Savings does not apply.
What do you think? Do you find it helpful? or are you the kind of person who won't end up using it? Does it no go far enough?
For now, you have to be logged in to see it: http://www.tale-ffxiv.com/timezone-clocks.html/
