  • Rules & Expectations for TALE Officers

     1. LEAD BY EXAMPLE
All officers of TALE must not only follow our rules, but also embody the friendly, welcoming, respectful atmosphere we seek to cultivate. Say hi to members when they log in, check to see if anyone wants to join you in dungeons or raids, respond when someone asks a question in FC chat, and so on.

    2. RECRUIT NEW MEMBERS & VET NEW RECRUITS
Officers are responsible for bringing in new potential members who fit well with the group's collective spirit. Officers are responsible for mentoring new azabs.

    3. REGULARLY HOST FC EVENTS
Every officer needs to run at least 1 scheduled FC event per month, preferably more if possible. Officers should also be available to assist with planning/running of TALE's public seasonal events. Officers must also collaborate in creating & leading the on-going TALE Storyline.

    4. BE OUR FACE IN THE COMMUNITY
Beyond looking for new members, officers should be responsive when people outside of the FC have questions about us. Officers should be generally considerate and friendly to others and take pride in fostering a positive reputation for our guild on our server.

    5. MODERATE FC/LINKPEARL CHAT
Keep our chat channels civil and free from unneeded tension.

    6. MEDIATE DISPUTES BETWEEN MEMBERS & UPHOLD FC RULES
Mediate disputes between members fairly and act as a neutral party. Record each instance of rule breaking/dispute resolution in the Officer's Logs and take screenshots of the discussion as it happens.

    7. MAINTAIN THE FREE COMPANY PERKS
Keep buffs up and on the agreed upon schedule, coordinate airship deployment/maintenance, routinely organize the FC chest and make sure tab structures are being followed, and update the MOTD.

    8. MODERATE OUR FORUMS
Participate in regular discussions on our forums & promote a healthy, respectful community. Make sure trolls and bots are dealt with promptly, respond to private messages from members and non-members, report any forum technical issues as needed, and perform routine moderator maintenance.
